In conjunction with our work on training pilots to handle ground and in-flight icing, we developed a prototype database of icing incidents and accidents.  The information in this database came from reliable sources, but we have not independently verified the contents and it is not kept up-to-date.

You may search for icing accidents by clicking one of the links above.  You can search the Accident Maps.  Click on the "Icing Accident Maps" link and choose any map from the list.  You can search through the database using other criteria (e.g. date, aircraft type) by clicking on the "Icing Accident Database" link and completing the search form.
